The short version
The app collects nothing— no accounts, no sign-ups, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking. Your child’s progress is saved only on their own device. This website collects one thing, and only when a grown-up chooses to hand it over: an email address typed into one of our signup forms, so we can send the free worksheets. We never sell it, and there is no advertising or analytics tracking anywhere on this site either.
The app: information we collect
None. The app does not ask for a name, an email address, a birthday, a photo, a location, or any other personal information. It does not read your contacts, your camera, your microphone, or your files. There is no login, because there is no account to log in to.
Where app progress is stored
Chapter progress, collected Golden Scrolls, and earned memory verses are stored locally on the device using standard iOS storage. Deleting the app deletes that progress. It is never uploaded anywhere.
In-app purchases
The app offers one optional purchase, “Unlock the Full Journey”, a single payment that unlocks the remaining chapters. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details. Apple’s privacy policy governs that transaction.
Links out of the app
The app contains a small number of links to our YouTube channel and this website. These sit behind a parental gate, and they open in the device’s browser rather than inside the app. Once a link is followed, the privacy policy of that site or service applies.
The website: what we collect
This site has a few places where you can give us your email address — to get the free family worksheets, to hear when a new episode goes up, to join the app waiting list, or to ask about Sunday School Packs for your church. We store the email address you type, and, on the church form only, the church nameif you give one. Nothing else. We do not ask for your name, your address, or your child’s details, and there is no account to create. If you never fill in a form, we collect no personal information from your visit at all.
How we use your email
To send you what you asked for — the worksheets, new-episode notes, or a reply about packs for your church. That is the whole list. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address, and we do not use it for advertising. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time; ask us directly and we will delete your address entirely.
Buying a Sunday School Pack
Pack and bundle purchases are handled by Stripeon Stripe’s own checkout pages. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us — we never see or store them. Stripe tells us that a purchase happened and gives us the buyer’s email so we can deliver the files. Stripe’s privacy policy governs the payment itself.
The companies that help us run this
Three services handle data on our behalf, and only for the jobs described above: Resend stores our email list and sends our emails, Stripe processes payments, and Vercelhosts this website. Like nearly every web host, Vercel keeps standard server logs — things like IP address, browser type, and which page was requested — to keep the site running and secure. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you, and we have added no advertising or analytics trackers to this site.
Children's privacy
The app is made for children and is designed to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple’s Kids Category requirements: it collects no personal information from anyone, of any age. The signup forms on this website are meant for parents, teachers, and church leaders — not for children — and we ask that only adults use them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has given us an email address, write to us at the address below and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If the app or this website ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and the date above before that change ships. We do not intend to start collecting anything beyond what is described here.
